Navigating Volatile Markets: Buffett’s Wisdom and My ETF Strategy

Hello Investors!

This has been an exciting and eventful week for me and I hope everyone is keeping their heads up during the uncertainty of life. There has been quite a bit of news for Berkshire Hathaway because Warren Buffett is going to start his succession plan this year starting by naming Greg Abel as his successor. Warren Buffett will remain on the board as chair, but he will split his role with Abel. Abel will run the company’s day to day operation and Warren Buffett will remain chair until his passing which will result in his son Howard Buffett to succeed him as chair. I am very excited to see what Abel will do once he does become CEO of Berkshire. He does have a big role to follow since Warren Buffett has been CEO since 1970. Warren Buffett’s portfolio has been a blessing to anyone that has followed him, since he just buys nothing but good companies in my opinion. He has done so much for investors that he will always be a legend in many investors’ eyes.

In other news there has been talks about the US and China trade negotiations that have taken place over the weekend. They are expecting to give news on Monday on what was talked about which will mean that the markets will react to what the officials will say. Right now the market has been recovering since the trade war between US and China started, but it will depend highly on what this next week brings. I plan to keep on investing in technology and diversified ETFs because I do know those will eventually recover and grow. I am hoping that NVDA does keep its price around $105 a share so that I can purchase five every paycheck, but it seems that it will start going up more once the trade war ends. We shall see what this week has to offer.

Until next time…Have a wonderful weekend and remember it is never too late to start investing!
