Aloha Investors!
I didn’t get to buy any stocks on 5/19, so I ended up buying today 5/22. Unfortunately, the debt ceiling talk is still looming amongst the stock market which is still scaring some investors. I do believe that there will be an agreement, but no one knows when they will release what will happen. They have until June 1st which is about ten days away to raise the debt ceiling. This will affect the economy a lot if there is no agreement. If an agreement isn’t met by that date then we might head into a recession. The only good thing is that it won’t affect the economy right away, but we will see more cutbacks and less consumer spending.
I’ve been doing research on two alternative investments that could produce you extra passive income along the way. These two investment options are high yield savings account and treasury bonds. I just opened my high yield savings account with Apple savings. Apple partnered with Goldman Sachs to allow users to save and gain daily cash over time at 4.15% APY (Annual percentage yield). The only thing you need is an Apple card which doesn’t impact your credit score when you sign up. I won’t be using this card since the interest rate is high, so I opted out of getting the physical titanium card. There are many other options when it comes to high yield savings accounts which I will provide to everyone. I will keep everyone updated as my website gets updated with these new features and walkthroughs.
I will also be covering treasury marketable securities once I’m able to start my own account.
Mahalo and have a great week!
