DRIP, IRA, and Dollar-Cost Averaging: A Simple Path to Wealth

Hello Investors!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend! This week has not changed too much with what is going on in the markets and news. It is basically the same things that are up in the air and right now all the investors are in a bind. Investors are either waiting for news or pulling out of the market because of uncertainty. This is good news for myself because I am sticking to my scheduled investment times and goals. I am going to keep on repeating myself because you can never time the market. Yes, it is good to buy when it is low, but in the long run timing the market is never a good thing. If you keep to a set investment date over the course of your lifetime you will do so much better than to just buy in dips. Also remember to diversify what you have for investments. Right now the best things are gold, silver, bonds, CDs, stocks, index funds, ETFs, real estate, and high yield savings accounts. There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to investing. All you have to do as an investor is diversify your funds between a handful of investments and over time all these investments will set you up for success when you retire.

This paycheck I bought five more shares of Nvidia and one share of VOO. I was hoping that Apple drops below 174 a share because I could buy one more share of Apple on my Traditional IRA account. I am hoping that from my shares of Apple I will get to buy one share, so that I can run on the DRIP on my Traditional IRA account. I plan to stick to my current goals and hopefully if it all goes to plan and I am able to buy five shares of Nvidia I will end up completing my hundred shares by mid September then I can move onto Amazon which is also a good buy right now since the trade war is affecting all the China products that are listed from various companies.

Until next time…Have a wonderful weekend and remember it is never too late to start investing!
