Future Profiting From Japanese Currency

Aloha Investors!

I just got back from my trip to Japan! I am still a little jet lagged and I have been sleeping more than usual, but I am glad to be back and investing once again. I came back to a nice sum of money to buy with and I was also glad to see Apple down, so I could purchase more of my favorite stock. When I was in Japan the Yen was still at a good price to purchase. I will be allocating more USD to purchase more Yen because I do believe that it will eventually go down, so that I can sell and make a profit. I have added the current Yen amount I have since it will be considered an investment for me. I will have to figure out how I can figure out the profits I make when I do sell since I will be buying Yen at different prices depending on the exchange rates. I am hoping Charles Schwab starts currency exchange, so that I will have an easier time purchasing, selling, and figuring out my profits.

This month I was able to purchase 6 shares of Apple (AAPL) and 1 share of Vanguard 500 Index Fund (VOO). I am hoping by focusing on Apple I will be able to finish my goal by the end of this year or sooner depending if I want to allocate more money towards my individual stock account. What I do like is that Apple does give a dividend that helps purchase a few shares a year. Just remember before you start investing make sure you pay your bills first and if you can resist the temptation to use your credit card because the interest rate is what hurts you unless you plan to pay it off right away.

I will try to focus more on providing more updates and content to my site in the next couple of months. Until then remember to keep on investing and save instead of spending money on things you don’t need.
