Investing In After The Nvidia 10-1 Stock Split!

Aloha Investors!

Wow! What a week for investors in the tech industry! I knew that Nvidia would end up splitting by the end of this year and the split would be at least a ten to one split. I am happy for the people that bought more shares when I bought my one share to get into the stock before it went up. I bought my one share at $626.98 and at that time I was debating if I should buy more or stick to my goals. I ended up sticking to my goal to finish my Apple goal. I am expecting a big jump in Apple once they release the upcoming news about their AI improvements. There are speculations that Apple is partnering with OpenAI to add an AI chatbot. The AI update might even be a new Siri that has AI capabilities. I know a lot of people will end up buying the new iPhone once something new is added to the iPhones, including me.

This month’s last paycheck I was able to grab three shares of Apple to bring my total to 961 shares. I am getting really close to completing my goal, but there is a big possibility that Apple will go up once the developers conference happens on June 10-14th. I was also able to purchase one share of VOO because I could not buy any shares last paycheck. There have not been any changes to my Traditional IRA because I am waiting to get enough dividends from Apple to purchase one more share. I will be changing my Apple shares in my Traditional IRA to be included in the Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIPs).

Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP) – A program that allows investors to reinvest their cash dividends into additional shares or fractional shares of the underlying stock on the dividend payment date.
