Investing In the Magnificent Seven!

Aloha Investors!

This year is going to be a different year for my investments because I want to be more aggressive with my individual stock account. This basically means I will focus on mostly the magnificent 7 when I feel they are undervalued. I was able to sell most of my dividend paying stocks and I bought into the following:

Apple – 58 shares @ 195.4351 = $11,335.24
AMD – 1 share @ 180.1069 = $180.11
NVDA – 1 share @ 626.975 = $626.98

The reason why I bought 1 share of both AMD and NVDA is to set a baseline to start off and I will buy more when it dips under to reduce my cost basis. When I look at the statistics for NVDA the stock itself looks really undervalued for the price it is at which means most likely the stock will start pushing 700-$800 per share eventually. I do believe that NVDA will end up splitting to allow more people to purchase shares that can’t afford the current stock price. I look forward to seeing what will happen with tech stocks this year.

I am also excited to see Apple savings increase their APY to 4.35%. I was able to pull out $1,700 from Apple savings within a couple days to purchase Japanese yen @ 142 per USD. This is still really good value to invest your USD and exchange it when it does drop. I don’t think I have seen the yen this high since I started investing. Along with purchasing yen I was able to increase my contributions for my individual stock account by $60.00 per month. It is always good to increase your investment contribution or savings when you get a raise or receive extra money.

Take a look at my updated investment tab to see my new numbers!
