Hello Investors!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! The big news for last week was the tariff talk for Mexico and Europe that will take into effect Aug. 1st. That announcement came after he announced a 35% tariff on Canadian goods, and a 25% tariff on imports from Japan and South Korea. I am hoping that a trade deal can be reached before all these tariff news start to take effect because it will be a rough year for everyone. There are already increases in all goods coming from other countries because they are seeing the increase in prices on their end. Investors need to stay confident that in the long run these increases will change the prices of goods.
This paycheck I was only able to purchase three shares of Nvidia due to the increase in their stock. I was also hoping to get at least one share of VOO, but it seems that the overall stock market has been very good. I am going to stick to my goals this year because I know there is a lot more growth potential for the magnificent 7 stocks. If I do change any of my goals I will surely update my list.
